Gothic glamour

With the weather in Dubai getting better and better each day, you just cannot resist from indulging yourself in a new activity; be it a brunch with friends, a romantic dinner and so on. And while you are at it, make sure you keep your chic on and be up to date with the latest style trends.

Talking about trends, the A/W 16 runway trends are all over the map. But one that caught our attention is Gothic! Dark lips, black boots, clean leather details. But it could get a bit tricky to adopt this trend, as you would not want to go over board and portray that you are “mourning” or walking out of a Halloween party. The idea is to be wise and mellow out!

For this look, we started off with our most loved well-fitted patent leather trousers and paired it with a chic textured blouse to mellow down the crystal-shine leather. You can wear any kind of leather for the Goth effect. We also took care of those breezy but not so cold winter evenings by adding a voguish sleeveless cardigan and very feminine black hat to complete the look.

Pointed black heels as an alternative to boy boots to add on to the drama and well-chosen accessories are a great way to round up the outfit and in this case what better accessory, than faux fur mini leather clutch.

This trend is sure to stay. Keep overall effect polished and whimsical and you are good to go!
